Bus Riders
Salem-Keizer Public Schools is committed to providing students with safe and efficient transportation.
Registering for School Bus Transportation
If your child is transportation-eligible and would like to ride the school bus to and/or from school, you can register them using the steps below.
Transportation-eligible means:
- A student lives at a residence within their neighborhood school attendance area
- Their residence is outside the Oregon's-defined walk zone for that school (1 mile for elementary students and 1.5 miles for middle and high school students)
Find Your Bus Stop
The district's Busfinder app allows you to find bus route, bus stop, pick up and drop off times, and your student's assigned school based on your residential address. Each bus's route number (RT#) is displayed to the left of its door.
For more information, contact Boundary Information at 503-399-3246.
Register to Ride the Bus
Once you've determined your student is eligible to ride the bus, an application for bus rider registration will be provided to you in your ParentVUE account.
Bus rider registrations are accepted and processed year-round and must be renewed each school year.
