“Defining and Refining You: Bold, Black, and Brilliant” is an immersive cultural enrichment summer program for students in Salem-Keizer Public Schools.
This program provides students and their families a program centered on developing strength, resilience, and knowledge of self. Students in the summer program participate in fun and culturally relevant activities to promote the empowerment of self through the discovery and discussion of African American Black history, culture and ancestral knowledge for incoming third through eighth-grade students.
