At the beginning of the school year, Lake Point Community Church donated 500 hotdogs, buns, chips, cookies and bottles of water for Keizer Elementary School’s open house.

“Just wow” is how Claudia Mendoza, community school outreach coordinator put it when describing Lake Point Community Church’s support.

They went above and beyond to help the school’s community become better, together. They served almost every single hotdog meal they brought for Keizer families.

This isn’t the first time Lake Point Community Church has helped out. In support of the school’s Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports system, or PBIS, the church created an ice cream sundae party as a schoolwide prize for students who met PBIS goals!

We couldn’t be more thankful for Lake Point Community Church, as their donations have allowed for stronger relationships to be built between students’ families and the teachers at Keizer Elementary.

Congratulations, Lake Point Community Church! We’re honored to have you as our Community Partner of the Month!
