On Tuesday, May 1, Salem-Keizer Public Schools (SKPS) will hold a Q&A called Ask Me Anything to answer questions regarding the $619.7 million proposed bond on the May 15 ballot. The bond would address overcrowding, expand career-technical education (vocational) opportunities, expand science classrooms, and increase safety and security in schools.
The event will be held on May 1 at noon on Twitter. Parents and interested community members are encouraged to participate and ask questions they may have about the proposed bond.
To participate, tweets should be sent to @salemkeizer with the hashtag #AMASKPSBond. Tweets will be received and responded to by Chief Operations Officer Mike Wolfe, who can answer most any question about the proposed bond.
More information about the proposed bond is available online at bondinfo.salkeiz.k12.or.us.
