This year, our students’ ID cards at the middle and high school levels will look a little different. The physical and psychological safety of our students is without question, our highest priority, and no student should go through a mental health crisis alone. You’ll find hotlines printed on the back of each ID card that students can access 24/7. This year we also have an additional counselor at each high school and offer access to licensed mental health therapists in nearly 30 of our schools. For more, see a News Report By KATU News 2.

We believe that each student should have a trusted adult who they can come to in a time of need. We encourage all students and adults to please make these critical connections with one another and help keep each other safe and healthy.
