This week, athletes across the district will officially begin competitions for “Season 4” sports for Oregon School Activities Association athletics. Below is spectator information for Season 4 sports.
Wrestling
Visiting Teams
One spectator pass for each visiting athlete, distributed by school’s athletic director.
Home Teams
Tickets for home team spectators will be managed by the home team’s athletic director based on facility capacity and the number of student-athletes participating.
Basketball
Visiting Teams
One spectator pass for each visiting athlete, distributed by school’s athletic director. For events in auxiliary gyms, no visiting spectators will be permitted due to facility capacity.
Home Teams
Tickets for home team spectators will be managed by the home team’s athletic director based on facility capacity and activities participating (cheer, dance, etc).
Swimming
Due to spectator restrictions at the KROC center, no spectators are currently permitted at swimming meets. Families will be notified if anything changes.
Recent statewide, masks, face coverings or face shields updates to not apply K-12 schools, schools must follow (K-12 schools must comply with the Ready School, Safe Learners (RSSL) guidance face covering requirements). This guidance DOES apply to K-12 sports. Outdoor guidance changed from requiring to recommending face coverings for athletes and spectators.
Indoor guidance did not change. In K-12 schools, fully vaccinated individuals must continue comply with Ready School, Safe Learners (RSSL) guidance for face coverings, which requires face coverings while inside school facilities.
