At its meeting on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, the School Board received a report from the Citizens Facilities Task Force of recommendations for funding the Capital Improvement Plan portion of the district’s draft Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP). The Task Force recommended the Board pursue a general obligation bond to address the needs outlined in the LRFP.

The LRFP outlines work needed at schools and district buildings to address capacity needs to serve the growing student enrollment, educational adequacy issues, safety and security needs, aging portables, seismic upgrades, ongoing building condition improvements, and others.

A copy of the report is available for download below. More information on the Citizens Facilities Task Force can be found on the Task Force page of the district website.
