On Tuesday, February 27, 2018, The Salem-Keizer Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the Findings of Fact in Support of the Use of Construction Manager/General Contractor Methodology for certain projects planned under the proposed 2018 construction bond.
Because of the complex nature and timing of certain projects, the Board has approved architectural and engineering (A&E) work to begin on the first five projects planned for construction under the proposed 2018 bond. The district’s Bond Program Management Team has recommended using a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/CG) construction contracting methodology for the most complex, technically and logistically challenging projects.
The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at Support Services Center, 2575 Commercial Street SE in Salem. The Board will hear public testimony at the meeting.
