During summer 2023, Salem-Keizer Public Schools will again be hosting Unfiied Summer Programs for students entering grades 1-12!
What are Unified Summer Programs
Unified Champion Programs are aimed at promoting social inclusion through intentionally planned activities where students with and without disabilities engage together, fostering respect, forming friendships and expanding acceptance. Unified Summer Programs are open to students who will be entering grades 1-12 and students of all abilities are welcome to apply. Camp participants will rotate with a group through athletic games and other activities each day.
Summer program dates & locations
High School (Incoming grades 9-12): North Salem High School
- Tuesdays & Thursdays | 9:30 AM-12:30 PM | July 6th-27th
Middle School (Incoming grades 6-8): North Salem High School
- Mondays & Wednesdays | 9:30 AM-12:30 PM | July 5th-26th
Elementary School (Incoming grades 1-5) Auburn Elementary School
- Monday through Thursday | 8AM-11AM | July 10th-13th & 17th-20th
Registration
Registration spaces are limited. In the event of a response greater than enrollment caps, there will be a lottery held with the goal of having each high school feeder area with equal athletes and partners for each level. After the lottery, the remaining spots will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis.
