Wednesday, February 15, 2023 is the statewide immunization exclusion day.

If your child is not up-to-date on required vaccinations for the State of Oregon or does not have a valid exemption on file, they will be excluded from valuable instruction time.

The statewide exclusion applies to all children enrolled for five or more days per school year in a school or preschool or five or more days per calendar year in other children’s facilities. This exclusion applies to all Salem-Keizer students, including students within the EDGE program.

Resources to receive vaccinations:

Child’s Primary Care Provider (immunization appointment-best option)

The best way to ensure your child receives up-to-date vaccinations is to schedule an appointment with your child’s primary care provider. Appointments do fill up quickly this time of year, so please schedule appointments soon to ensure your student is not excluded.
