Salem-Keizer Public Schools is seeking two community members to serve on the budget committee. Each appointee will serve a three-year term ending June 30, 2025. Committee members will review and approve budgets for adoption by the school board during this time.

Requirements for eligibility
- Candidates must be registered voters and residents of Salem-Keizer School District 24J.
- Salem-Keizer School District employees, officers or agents are not eligible to apply.
- At least one appointee must be a member of the District Equity Advisory Committee (DEAC).
Interviews and appointments
Candidates will be interviewed and appointed by the school board at a board meeting in February.
