The Salem-Keizer School Board is working on a general obligation bond for the May 2018 ballot. The bond measure is not yet final, but it is important for parents, staff and members of our community to have the opportunity to learn about why a bond is needed and how it could benefit our schools.
The Listening & Learning sessions will give parents, school neighbors, interested community members, staff and district officials the chance to listen and learn from each other about the process to determine school needs and the School Board’s progress on developing the bond measure.
Invitations will be made soon by phone-dialer to parents of students in all schools in each high school feeder system. If you are the parent of an elementary or middle school student and are not sure which high school your student will attend, please see our feeder system page.
All meetings will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
- October 25 at North Salem High School
- November 1 at South Salem High School
- November 8 at Sprague High School
- November 13 at McNary High School
- November 15 at Straub Middle School (for West Salem feeder schools)
- November 16 at McKay High School
