Moises Garcia Garcia

We are proud to recognize Moises Garcia Garcia, a senior at McKay High School, for his strong work ethic, dedication and leadership in the Culinary Arts program.

Leadership in Action

Moises is a Restaurant Management 2 student and a four-year participant in Culinary Arts. Over the past four years, he has earned a reputation for reliability, focus and perseverance. As bakery manager in the program’s student-run catering branch, he oversees the planning, preparation and final presentation of baked goods for catering events. He ensures recipes are followed, timelines are met and quality standards remain high, while supporting and guiding his teammates throughout each project.

“Preparing food can be stressful at times because he knows the end result is a reflection of the teamwork that’s put in, but he loves it,” his mother shared. Her words reflect the pride and responsibility Moises brings to his work each day.

A Commitment to Growth

Moises consistently seeks feedback, refines his skills and takes pride in improving his craft. His dedication and professionalism embody the purpose of Career and Technical Education, preparing students with real-world experience, leadership skills and the confidence to succeed beyond high school.

We are proud to celebrate Moises and his contributions to the Culinary Arts program at McKay High School.
