Members of the school board at a meeting.

Coming up on May 20, 2025, counties across Oregon will be holding local elections, including school board elections. This is your chance to help shape the future of local schools in our communities and ensure your voice is heard.

Salem-Keizer School Board: Four Board Seats Up for Election

This May, four seats on the Salem-Keizer School Board are up for election, zones 1-4. Although each elected director represents a specific zone in our school community, all registered voters within our school district boundaries can cast their vote for each board seat no matter where they live within our district.

Each board member is elected to serve a four-year term, without pay. The Salem-Keizer School Board is the governing body for the school district that works together, alongside district leaders to set priorities, evaluate progress toward district goals and support the growth and academic achievement of all students in Salem-Keizer Public Schools.

Voting in local elections is a powerful way to share your voice and support the future of our schools.
