Upcoming Budget Discussion Meetings

On February 3 and 4, we will be holding budget discussion meetings to engage the community in Salem-Keizer’s upcoming budget reductions. This will be a time to learn more about why a budget reduction is needed, next steps Salem-Keizer is going to take and an opportunity to ask questions.

Salem-Keizer Public Schools is working toward the goal of $25 million in reductions to protect our financial future. We have learned a lot from our community in recent years through previous engagement and are maintaining our financial commitment to mental health supports, extracurricular activities, music, fine arts, athletics, dual language, CTE and advanced coursework.
