High School Students and Families Invited to College Night!

Salem-Keizer Public Schools is partnering with local universities and the Higher Education Coordinating Commission of Oregon to host Capital College Night. All Oregon high school students and their families are invited to attend.
Who Should Attend?
This free event is open to students from across Oregon who are exploring postsecondary options. Whether you're interested in attending a college, university, or learning about scholarships, Capital College Night provides an excellent opportunity to explore pathways to higher education.
Oregon College & University Fair
A key feature of the evening will be the Oregon College & University Fair, running from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where students can connect directly with representatives from higher education institutions across the state. In addition, informative presentations on paying for college and college search tips will be available in both English and Spanish.
Scholarships and Raffles
To make the evening even more exciting, students will have the chance to win a $500 scholarship—one for a 10th, 11th, and 12th grader—as well as enter a college swag raffle. Winners must be present at 7:45 p.m. to claim their scholarship.
Event Highlights
- Oregon College & University Fair (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.) featuring representatives from institutions across the state
- Paying for College Presentations (6:15 – 7:00 p.m.) in English & Spanish
- College Search Tips Presentation (6:15 – 7:00 p.m.) in English & Spanish
- $500 Scholarship Raffle for one 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade student (must be present at 7:45 p.m. to win)
