2024 Community-Based Summer Opportunities

Students playing outside with a large colorful parachute on a sunny day.

While many SKPS schools and programs host summer activities to support students with academics and a smooth transition to the new school year, the Salem-Keizer community is also full of opportunities to help students stay engaged over the summer and support student learning, wellness and engagement.

Below are some of the clubs, programs, events and activities available to students in the Salem-Keizer community during summer break. We will update our list as we learn more about the opportunities available in the community.

Please note that Salem-Keizer Public Schools does not endorse or sponsor any of the below programs or activities in this publication. All questions regarding summer programming options should be directed to the program organizers. Some programs may be subject to enrollment or tuition fees.
