Position Summary

The Auxiliary Services Operations Supervisor provides operational leadership and technical oversight across Auxiliary Services functions including warehouse operations, logistics, reprographics, asset management, customer support, and production services. The role ensures efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery that supports school and district operations. This position leads process improvement initiatives, supervises assigned staff, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to optimize workflows, strengthen customer service, and promote operational excellence aligned with district values.

  5. Supervises and coordinates daily operations of assigned Auxiliary Services functions including warehouse operations, logistics and delivery services, reprographics and production services, asset management, and customer support.
  6. Plans, organizes, and monitors workflows to ensure efficient production, accurate inventory management, timely distribution of materials, and high-quality service delivery to schools and departments.
  7. Leads, coaches, and evaluates assigned staff; establishes performance expectations; develops schedules and coverage plans; and provides training and professional development to strengthen operational effectiveness and customer service.
  8. Ensures compliance with district policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations related to warehousing, material handling, delivery operations, production equipment, and asset lifecycle management.
  9. Analyzes operational data, service metrics, and workflow processes; develops reports; and recommends improvements that enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
  10. Coordinates complex operational projects including large-scale material movement, installation, logistics planning, and cross-departmental initiatives supporting district priorities.
  11. Oversees asset collection, storage, redistribution, and disposal processes to promote fiscal responsibility, space optimization, and lifecycle planning.
  12. Collaborates with internal departments, vendors, and external partners to resolve technical, production, and logistics-related issues and ensure alignment with district operational goals.
  13. Provides technical troubleshooting and customer support related to Auxiliary Services systems, software, and production processes.
  14. Establishes and sustains entrepreneurial culture emphasizing operational best practices, service optimization, revenue enhancement, and cost reduction.
  15. Performs other duties related to the position, as assigned.

Knowledge

  1. Organizational policies and procedures, role-specific guidelines, and the ability to learn and apply district standards.
  2. Warehouse operations, logistics coordination, production services, inventory control, and asset lifecycle management.
  3. Customer service principles and service-delivery systems in a public-sector or K–12 environment.
  4. Safety standards and practices related to material handling, equipment operation, and warehouse or production environments.
  5. Workflow planning, process improvement methodologies, and operational performance metrics.
  6. Software systems used for job management, inventory tracking, billing, reporting, and production workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of training, experience, and/or education may be considered in meeting these position requirements.

Education

  1. Associate degree in business administration, logistics, operations management, industrial technology, public administration, or a related field.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Experience

  1. Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in customer service, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, production services, or related operational environments.
  2. Two (2) years of supervisory or lead experience overseeing staff, workflows, or operational functions.
  3. Experience in a K–12 educational or public-sector environment preferred.
  4. Experience implementing process improvements, managing service metrics, or coordinating multi-unit operational functions preferred.

Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements

Possession of a valid US driver’s license and availability of private transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
