Each year the school board adopts a financial plan for the upcoming school year. This plan guides staff in how funds are to be spent. Click here view the current Adopted Budget as well as past Adopted budget.
The budget committee is a 14-member group consisting of the Salem-Keizer School Board and seven appointed volunteer community members. The committee is an advisory group established by statute to make budgetary recommendations to the school board.
The Salem-Keizer community approved a $619.7 million bond for school renovations and expansions in May 2018. The Bond Project web page provides current and estimated status for construction work at various school locations.
