Policies, Procedures & Forms

These policies and procedures are developed to serve as guidelines and goals for the successful and efficient governing of Salem-Keizer Public Schools.

Policy & Form Updates

Salem-Keizer Public Schools has chosen a Quality Assurance Model (QAM), a continuous improvement process, that demonstrates our commitment to our students. Through a constant commitment to quality, we provide a pathway to success for every child, every day. These documents are updated regularly to reflect their most recent version.

In adherence with Oregon Senate Bill 819, this policy establishes what “abbreviated school day” means for students with disabilities (IEPs or 504 plans). The policy requires documenting alternatives, ensuring meaningful access, holding regular review meetings, and gives parents the right to revoke consent.

This policy centers on academic achievement and communicating academic progress and barriers with parents and guardians.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Salem-Keizer Public Schools! If you are 18 or older and would like to volunteer in our schools, please start by completing an application for a criminal history check.
